The Harken 57mm is one of the most popular ratchet blocks on the market with most new boats from Laser and RS coming new with this block. The Carbo design is lightweight at 85g and is durable with a 5-year warranty making it a great option for your boat. This fits up to 10mm rope so is compatible with most dinghies. The sole is not as thick as it would appear from the photos but seem to be perfectly good for the usual limited shore walking.
